Our 7 Step Building Process

We at Ray Town Houses are proud and dedicated to give the best and most stress free experience possible. We do this through our 7 step Building Process.

  1. Initial Design & Process Meeting
  2. • After your initial contact we visit your land to document your ideas, needs, house renovation plans and budgets
    • Existing surveys, copy of title or other relevant information will be required

  3. Your Plans or Concept & Design
  4. • If your plans are not in place, a design and briefing meeting will be held with our draftsman/designer
    • From these meetings your concept design and cost estimate is prepared, presented and amended if necessary

  5. Decision to Accept Estimate and Plan Preparation
  6. • On acceptance of the estimate, your house plans will be prepared (new drawings only)
    • Your selections are documented and your working drawings are prepared, presented and finalised

  7. Contract Documents & Council Building Approval
  8. • A Fixed Price Contract is prepared and presented to you for approval
    • Once you are satisfied, the contract documents, including the building contract, working drawings (if not already done) addendum to specification and guarantee documentation are signed
    • We will prepare and lodge with the Council all relevant and required documentation

  9. Building Works/ Construction
  10. • Construction of your new home will commence soon after Council consented plans are received; at which stage a build start date is determined and an indicative timeline presented
    • Progress payments will be required as per the contract
    • We will hold regular site meetings with you, where you will review progress and offer constructive input into the process

  11. Handover - Completion
  12. • You will be invited to come and inspect your new home with the builder

  13. Moving Into Your Dream Home
  14. • We take great pride in handing over your new home to you, knowing that we have delivered on every one of our agreement promises
